Our Philosophy
Wisdom begins with wonder - by Socrates
To cherish the joy of families and the many different ways they come to us.
With Te Whaariki and Kei Tua o te Pae as guidelines, we recognise that each and every child is competent and capable, and we will adapt our pedagogy to support all learning. Theorists of human behaviour, Piaget, Vygotsky and Bronfennrenner, underpin our assessment and evaluation of children's learning.

Olivia's mat time
Today Olivia brought two books to the centre 'Rocking horse Roger' and 'Jeremy Fisher.'At mat time Olivia took her books up to Jo-Anne and asked if she could read them to everyone.Olivia did a marvellous job showing her confidence as she read the first book and assisted Jo-Anne with the second one. Her audience showed their appreciation that words and books can amuse, delight and excite!
