With Te Whaariki and Kei Tua o te Pae as guidelines, we recognise that each and every child is competent and capable, and we will adapt our pedagogy to support all learning. Theorists of human behaviour, Piaget, Vygotsky and Bronfennrenner, underpin our assessment and evaluation of children's learning.

On Thursday, 30th June, 2011, we took fourteen children to visit St. Domincs school. The children were given the opportunity to participate in a class programme, and experience a morning in the life of a school child. This helps them to be prepared for school when they start. The children had a great time!

    All the little ones are no longer little. They are just about ready for school. Even better, I can see some skills for life as the children took an interest in what was going on demonstrating inquiring minds and an ability to listen. Keep it up cherubs!
