Our Philosophy
With Te Whaariki and Kei Tua o te Pae as guidelines, we recognise that each and every child is competent and capable, and we will adapt our pedagogy to support all learning. Theorists of human behaviour, Piaget, Vygotsky and Bronfennrenner, underpin our assessment and evaluation of children's learning.
Our Blog
We value your input, comments, questions and stories. Please add a comment to any post that you are interested in or speak to one of the team and they will help you.

Lantern Festival Trip - Happy New Year!
| Make a Smilebox slideshow |
Hit the play button above to join us on our Lantern Festival trip. A double decker bus came to pick us up. Cameron thought it was the "Thomas bus" while another friend said it was the "Sky Tower bus." We sat on the top deck and the bus driver drove over to pick up our friends from Kinross Street.
There was a bit of excitement when the bus driver parked as the tree branch went through the bus window, not the glass bit and so we were all ok. We went on the motorway into town and parked just beside Albert Park. Just a short stroll down the road and we were there.
Some of our favourite things about this trip were,
"The sheep, cows and the chickens" said Master J.
"I like town..." advised Branson, "...just going there and going on the double decker bus."
"Climbing!" Said Carolina.
Hope you enjoyed the Lantern Festival as much as we did. Come back again soon as there will be more photos of some other things that we got up to while at the park. Thank you again to the parents and grandparents that joined us. We truly appreciate it.
